Dormant Company Accounts
What is a Dormant Account?
This is a newly formed company that has not started to trade, or not traded within the current financial year. Companies that have a dormant status are only required to file an abbreviated form of account to Companies House. Abbreviated accounts do not need to show profit and loss or a directors report.
How long can you have a dormant account?
A dormant account can be held indefinitely by the named director, but as soon as trading commences it will lose its dormant status.
How long does it take?
Filing will take a maximum of 7 days to process the accounts. To do this we will require:
Shares paid / unpaid.
