What is a Confirmation Statement?
Every Ltd company that is formed in the UK must file a confirmation statement each year with Companies House.
The purpose of the Confirmation Statement is to provide Companies House with the most recent information relating to your company; details such as registered office address, SIC Codes, share capital, shareholders and persons with significant control (PSC).

Please note: If you do not file a confirmation statement your company will be struck off from the Companies House Register.
When is it due and how is it filed?
The confirmation statement must be completed and filed annually, 14 days after the anniversary of the company’s formation, or the date of the last confirmation statement. It must be files at Companies House at least once in every 12-month period.
